So we all know I have an ongoing love affair with Kylie and I think most of the world has, have you seen the latest pictures of her as a blondie? She reminds me of my all time favourite actress Brittany Murphy! Another reason to love her. Now everyone finally figured her lip combo was Soar lip liner and Brave lipstick but at £28 for two products it's not always the purse friendly option so meet my second dupe. When I say dupe I mean exact match for Soar but in a liquid lipstick sent from heaven.

We all know Kylie Jenner is all the rage lately and because we have the same names (obviously spelt differently) and she's so freakin' perfect I want to copy her lips, yep I want to copy a 17 year olds look even though I'm 26! She's been rocking some beautiful Matte shades on her lips and super over drawing them and I found a high street dupe lip pencil to get those awesome mauve dusty pink / nude lips!

I never thought I'd post the words 'One Direction' on my blog because I am definitely not a massive 1D fan however I am a fan of this lipstick. The shade instantly reminded me of MAC's Snob with its blue/lilac undertones and I thought it might be a good dupe but it's definitely got a lot more lilac to it than Snob.

Slightly muddled post coming up, I thought I'd share an offer with you and just generally a first impressions kinda thing instead of a 'review' 

Scouring the Superdrug shelves I saw that the Real Techniques brushes are currently on a buy one get one half price offer so I felt I needed to get the missing few for my collection I really wanted the Real Techniques retractable kabuki but they didn't have it or even a place on the shelves for one so I'll have to make my collection complete another day, le sigh.

MAC | Maleficent Collection.

I know this has been in the works for a while now but After the third trailer was released on the 18th of March for Disney's Maleficent I thought it would be fitting to post a first look at the MAC Maleficent range. Inspired by Angelina Jolie and not the cartoon version so it's much more grown up and not at all like the 1959 mistress of all evil, I'm itching to see if I'm lucky enough to grab some but I won't hold my breath!

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural | Light Plus | £22.00  I've never been a powder fan, infact I'd say I dislike powder mainly because I used to wear so much of it I had that weird matte fluffy cakey face look going on for so long it now just reminds me of that but after a lady at the Brighton MAC store dusted some on my face for me I thought I might try this.

Thanks to the title of this I've got Hungry Eyes stuck in my head, what a song though right?
Anyway as makeup fiend I've never EVER bothered with smokey eyes or eye shadow in general but I've always been amazed by what people can do and how it transforms a look. I've been looking at pictures and decided I'd try..
(This is my second go at a dramatic smokey eye so please be kind! :) )

 This is by no means a 'tutorial' as I don't think I'm good enough to tell people how to do something but I thought everyone might enjoy the easiest tip ever for a really dramatic clean line, something I've never been able to do before and no you don't need to buy any special tools because it's just clear tape!

Hello guys and dolls!

Isn't cheap makeup brilliant, everyone loves a bargain but when that bargain can contain ingredients like lead, copper, mercury, arsenic and cadmium is the few pounds worth it? Would you put any of this on your face, no. 

Buying fake makeup by mistake is easy to do but it is dangerous and I don't think enough people know the difference and we really should!

I've found myself at 2am looking on eBay, Amazon and other sites for super discounted makeup, I ran out of Benefit Erase Paste It's not a must in my makeup bag but I did like it and it lasted a while so I thought 'Ohhh I'll have a nose' off I went and into a world of cheap makeup on ebay, Erase Paste is priced at £19.50 so it's quite a blow to the purse when you're a drug store queen!

After selecting what I was told was a real and genuine product for around £10 I couldn't wait to get my package, when it arrived the box looked exactly the same and then when I opened it and got to the pot, that's when I immediately realised fake.  

Through this post the left pot is fake and the right is real.
