When I first saw this I didn't actually know what it was, sat in the foundation section of the L'oreal stand looking pretty I just thought 'oh, another BB cream' as it's packaged similarly to their BB and CC range, I've also seen multiple people moaning that this 'foundation/cream' is rubbish so I didn't pay it much attention. (This also leads me to believe people don't read product packaging!) I thought for the first few seconds it was a foundation like lots of other confused shoppers, well.. being in the foundation section, being available in two shades, light to medium and medium to dark all of this would lead you to think it's a foundation right? Wrong.  After hastily opening the sample and squeezing some out in the shop I instantly thought 'hallelujah!' a 'primer' that's the perfect consistency then I realised I had stumbled upon the holy grail of dupes. A dupe for the mighty Benefit Porefessional.

False Lashes | Tips & Tricks

Hello lovely, this is a big fat post so grab a cuppa or even a glass of wine and settle in!  I love using falsies to vamp up my look however sometimes these pesky little so and so's can be a pain to put on or even keep on. There's nothing worse than having an eyelash literally pop off in the middle of partying or it stabbing you in the eye all evening so it sounds silly someone telling you how to apply them but here are a few tricks I've learnt for getting beautiful lashes! There are many different types from strip lashes to singles, thin to thick, long to short and it all depends on the kind of drama you want to create. If you're going for a day look singles are great and if you're wanting to channel your inner drag queen there's some insane strip lashes around.
I usually wear strip lashes but have you ever noticed they sometimes stab you or peel up in the corner? I find 'cheaper' lashes are the main culprit for this and I solve this by holding both sides of the lash and bending it in an arch and rocking back and forward so the lash becomes curved and trimming it slightly as I have little eyes. The band along the top of the lash is also another factor, if its really thick like the ones pictured are the lashes don't bend half as much as thin band lashes so the curve trick is out the window.

I've been on a spending ban before holiday but It's so hard to resist two lipsticks and a nail polish for £2.79 isn't it? I got a bargain three for two in Superdrug and it included two lipsticks I've not been able to get my hands on.

Misconceptions | What People Think Of Me.

I'm no stranger to being stopped in the street for someone to ask about my hair, tattoos, piercing or tumblr blog and its always nice to be told your look or something you're doing is awesome but so many people have misconceptions about the way I look and sometimes it can be really offensive!
Walking into a bar and seeing scores of girls/guys whispering about you because you're in a classy bar and you 'don't belong' is really intimidating. I've been insulted on numerous occasions and I don't think people realise they're doing it.

First up, my hair. An Ariel-esque colour hair is obviously going to attract some looks but going as far as people grabbing me in the street? It really happens.

True Colour Lipstick | £4.99 I've not tried any of the sleek lipsticks until I saw this when looking for a nude-ish lippy, my hair colour is sometimes the bane of my life because I can't wear these fab berry/purple/vampy shades I have to stick to pale pinks, nudes or sometimes a complimenting red.

I know when Hydra Veil was released there was this huge hype so I dived right in and got a pot when visiting the flag ship store and then when visiting with a voucher I was given for Christmas I got another pot in the fantastic 'Skin Trinity' deal they did, it was at the time £50 (Now £70!) So I've had two pots and a long enough time to truly say I love this product.

I am a bad person, I've recently got so up in a tizz about planning a trip to Thailand I forgot that I am going to Palma Nova in just over a month, I booked it with a friend a while ago and holy cow it's nearly here.

I went last year with my BFF and 25ish other friends and it was insane, as you can imagine 30 odd drunk young adults a bay over from Magaluf.

I never thought I'd post the words 'One Direction' on my blog because I am definitely not a massive 1D fan however I am a fan of this lipstick. The shade instantly reminded me of MAC's Snob with its blue/lilac undertones and I thought it might be a good dupe but it's definitely got a lot more lilac to it than Snob.
